The girls had a great December. Teryn turned 2. She got rid of her passy, she is still potty training. She is counting to 10 in her own language. She tries so hard to keep up with big sis. She sang Happy Birthday to herself 100 times at least.

Evie sang Christmas carols at her school play, and has sang them EVERY day since them. This girl loves to sing. She is cutting, gluing, writing, and learning to ride her bike with training wheels. She told me in the car "God lives in soldiers hearts, even though they gave him boo boo's. But I am Jesus' friend and I would never give him boo boo's". Don't you love a child's innocence!

They both loving pretending to tell secrets and whispering/tickling peoples ears. They love eating snacks while jumping on the trampoline. Evie would dance all day if she could and Teryn would be held or eat all day if she could.

The girls enjoyed visiting Granny and Papa, Grandma and Grandaddy, Ms. Lynn and Mr. Steve came to visit with Odetta (their dog). The girls built gingerbread houses, snowmen, bells, dyed rice krispy treats, looked at Christmas lights, and went to Sea World.

Thanksgiving weekend was full of fun! Evie started us off with a bang being an incredible Indian in her pilgrim/indian performance. She sang 5 songs that her school taught them and was not a bit stage afraid.

Then came Tday dinner at Aunt Mar's. The girls had fun with Cousin Nolan and Cousin Liam.

Later came the EVA football game and a trip to Tallahassee and a stay at a hotel. The girls always love hotels!

Lastly came the girls first time to an NFL game. Jags vs Texans. They made it to 1/2 time, but what an experience.

Yes, we are so blessed to have each other, all the time together this past weekend and so much more!

Evie and Teryn experienced their first real trick or treating in the neighborhood. All Evie wanted to do was knock on the door. They also had a blast at a nearby church's fall festival. Just think next year their will be THREE of them to dress up.

The girls are doing great! They are really growing. Teryn is talking up a storm (still not able to make out everything she says). Although we do ask her, "What is your name?" and she says, "Evie!" haha
Evie is doing great. She is busy at school and knows how to swing herself on the swing "all by herself".

Both Daddy and Mama were blessed to be able to take the girls together to school on their firs tday. Evie is dressed with her cool outfit and awesome "light up" shoes for her first day of Pre-K3 class. Teryn is dressed so cute with her lime green and her new sketcher shoes too. She is ready for her Pre-K1 class. Evie has a new teacher this year named Ms. Priscilla from Ecuador. Teryn has her favorite teacher from last year "Ms. Kristy".

The girls have done good the first two days back at school. They are enjoying their friends and Teryn has not used the passy for 2 days (unbelievable I know).

Continue praying for them that they have a healthy, safe, and fun year!

Teryn came home last Monday from school with pain in her right arm. She would not use it to eat, pick up anything (so we knew something was up). Tuesday morning we got xrays (tiniest xrays I've ever seen) and it came back with the right ulna and radius both having a buckle fracture in each. Orthopedic surgeon put a purple cast on and we are in it for 3 weeks. Teryn was so brave walking in the doc office all by herself, sat on her Daddy's lap and never cried. She is adjusting well. Looking forward to July 6 coming so we can go to the beach and pool again.

Oklahoma Visit

The girls went on their first ever airplane ride from Jax to Atlanta then from Atl to Tulsa, Ok. They did great, Evie asked a million questions, drank sprite, ate peanuts, complained of ear pain a bit, and talked on her plane phone while Teryn sat with her Granny or me. Crazy drama almost missing first flight and only being 10 feet away from correct flight, delays in Atlanta, and then mechanial problems on the return. But God looked after us and we made the flight there and back safely so thank you for your prayers.

The girls had a blast hugging and watching Odetta. She was so good with them and the girls missing petting her soft fluffy fur.

Ms. Lynn had so much arranged to keep the girls busy and happy. She thought of everything and the girls enjoyed it. We can't wait to see her and visit with her again.

The flight attendant gave Evie a pin to wear that was in the shape of wings. I am proud of how they behaved and would do it all over again, thanks to the help of their Granny.

Evie 3 and Teryn 16 months are really enjoying playing with each other. Evie is reading her bible to Teryn while they both sit on their windowsill in their room. Evie and Teryn have enjoyed their swing set from last April (as long as the caterpillars and mosquitos are out of the way). Evie is enjoying painting, drawing, learning her letters, and watching the Wiggles. Teryn is starting to talk more and has tried the potty a few times (no luck but hey if she's excited, we are excited). The girls are growing big time...now I see why my Mama always said " I wish I could keep ya'll little."

Evie and Teryn are growing up quite a lot. It is madness at our house with baseball scheduling. We are on the go every weekend. We are looking foward to spring break..just 1 week away! The girls are doing great! Evie is 3 and acting 12. She loves to dress up, read, draw, cut, and ride her Dora trike. Teryn is 15 mths today and loves eating, pickin on her sister, being held, and being outside! They are quite fun to watch at ballgames as they only want to play in the DIRT, DIRT, DIRT! Good thing the beach is nearby, so we can go from DIRT to SAND!

The girls enjoyed their visit to Albany. They have also enjoyed the weather outside these last 2 weeks, spring fever! Teryn is 14 months, has 4 teeth and is babbling like crazy! Her favorite thing to do is take Evie's toys and run away ( I think she likes the thrill of being chased) Evie's up to cutting and coloring and learning letters each week. She also is loving dressing up into dresses and "dance shoes" is what she calls them. We are looking forward to baseball season following Daddy to all his games!

Evie 35 months and Teryn 12 months enjoyed their Christmas. Evie's into Dora and Elmo and yes Barney still. Her favorite thing to do is cut with scissors, chew gum, and talk talk talk. Teryn has been walking for 2 weeks now and she loves to EAT! The girls are healthyand we enjoyed our time together as a family this Christmas vacation. We count our blessings daily for such a healhty family. God has truly blessed us this 2010 year.

Terrance and I got to spend my birthday in Jamaica. It was our birthday and Christmas combined. It was our first time leaving the girls. The girls held up great with their Granny and Papa and we enjoyed relaxing and looking at God's beautiful creations. It was awesome! But we were both ready to see our girls!

Teryn Turns 1

Teryn turned 1 on December 18, 2010. She weighed in at 18.8 and is 15th percentile for height and weight. Super healthy! Such a blessing. We continue to pray for her and know she will start Evie's school on Monday, January 3. She has quite a personality with sweet and loving, but can stand her own and be fiesty. So we will see how she adjusts to being a 1 year old. Right now. LOVES to sing "If You're Happy and You Know It"..she can clap, stomp and say "Hooray" and loves to EAT, EAT, EAT! Evie and Teryn love their flags on their shirts. Evie loves singing The National Anthem. Maybe because she heard it at EVERY baseball game and it was drilled in her ears. Either way, I'm tickled to know she LOVES seeing flags and singing such a powerful song. Their Uncle Caleb has been in Japan because he is stationed there for the marines. Teryn will be 6 months on Friday. Our little "T" was dedicated this past Sunday at church. Thank you to her Granny and Papa and Aunt Chelsea who came down for it. We are so blessed to have her in our life. It is such an honor and gift to be a parent. T and I prayed and thanked God for allowing us to be parents and we promised to raise her in a godly home and continue to take her to church. Our prayer is that she share the same faith as us so that our family will remain together not just here on earth but in heaven too. Thank you God for such a beautiful, healthy baby. We pray she learns to love you even more than we love her!

Two heads are better than one

Evelyn will be 2 1/2 this month. Teryn will be 6 months. These two girls keep me rolling and exhausted!! But hey, it is way worth it! I never thought I could love anyone as much as Evie, but when God blesses parents with children He some how is powerful enough to extend our love. It is not that I love Evie any less, it is just that I have been given more love to share now to both of them. I can see how God loves us. Each new creation He doesn't take love away from others so that He can love on a new child, NO.....he simply extends and expands His love. I'm so thankful to have both the girls in my life. I'm so thankful that they are loved daily by their grandparents who are watching them. I am grateful to have a supportive husband that adores them so much. But mostly I am so very thankful to know they are loved by their Creator and Savior!

Teryn's Ears pierced

Teryn got her ears pierced last month. she was such a big girl! She is five months now and is eating solids for breakfast, lunch, and supper. Hasn't found anything she doesn't like to eat and hasn't complained about a thing! hehe! Evie is being a great big sister and is talking up a storm. They both are loving being with their grandparents while Mama finishes up the last bit of the school year. Brownie is just loving being with them (and catching their spills)

Freeman Family wishes ya'll a Happy Easter. The girls are growing daily. We are blessed to have had Evie's godparents come visit us before I headed back to work. BOO HOO HOO! Back to work I go and leaving my two little girls behind. But as the good Word says, "His mercies are new EVERY morning"! And I am already seeing His new mercies because our Evie is soooooo pumped her Granny and Papa are staying with us. What a blessing to have our girls grandparents watching them, spending time with them, praying for them, and loving them DAILY! Evie and Teryn will be in good hands so that puts me at ease for my first day back. I'm so thankful to have stayed home for Evie's first 15 weeks of her life and now Teryn's first 13 weeks of her life. God has made it a miracle to allow me to go back to work and not worry b/c the girls will be in the hands of something better than parents, GRANDparents! Thanks Ms. Debbie and Mr. Moses for watching our girls!

Evie: Says "Heyyo" for "hello", "Taaarence" for Terrance, "Racher" for"Rachel" (yep she knows our first names".....loves to call me "mommy or mom b/c she knows I hate that...the correct way is "Mama"
She is also going as she says "pee pee in potty" a few times a day (not real consistent). She doesn't want anyone to hold "HER baby Teryn" except Mama
OH, and this is Evie and Daddy's baseball facility. You'd think she'd beimpressed with how big Chipper Jones is...but NO....she only cares that "Mama ...dirt on shoes". Chipper has dirt on the bottom of his cleates! haha

Teryn: Can lay on her belly and lift head for long periods of time and look left and right. She loves to smile at noises and at herCAAACRAZY sister. She is sleeping up to 10 hours at night!

Every day is something new. Evie is sporting Daddy's hat backwards. She loves it when "Daddee ome" she says. Little Teryn is content just watching. Evie and Teryn love being outside...can't seem to think who they get that after. But, Evie is obsessed with painting lately, she has to take them everywhere, from room to room and this picture here shows you how she takes her paint (in her pockets...not viewable are her two back pockets each filled with a paint canister) haha! And Teryn is so laid back she just laughs and smiles as her big sister gets carried away. So looks like I have a busy body daugther and then a calm daugther. How neat that they balance each other out so well!

Evie is 23 months old. Her baby sister has still not arrived yet, but hopefully within the week. This is her last week at school! Yea! Evelyn got to visit the circus for the first time (which just so happened to be held where T and went to college UNF.) She was so impressed with this elephant. We had coached her all week about "clowns". She was so excited to see them UNTIL we got close, as you can see she was not so happy being near the happy clown. And then to the right, T and I took Evie to her school carnival. She lasted 15 minutes. Once she won a lollipop, she would not play any games cuz that would mean "letting go" of her lollipop. OH NO, not gonna happen. So T played fishing and bowling for her and I played the sand box and duck game. She's a candy-aholic like her Mama.

Little Evie is 21 months. She loves spaghettios, spaghetti, any kind of crackers and of course "candy" (dont tell her Daddy that part). She loves to say "Again, again". She just started saying "yes" BIG improvement from hearing NO all the time. Her little sister Teryn will be with us in less than 8 weeks. Evie as you can see LOVES outside, loves Brownie, and loves to eat chocolate!!

First Time at Day Care Drama

Our Evelyn Faith was such a big girl this past week at Arlington Baptist Church Childcare. It was her first experience with a routine and with other kids her age and in a new environment. She struggled a bit, but she is so brave! This picture is of her first day outside the church holding Brownie before going in. Brownie has been her little "safety net" to hold every second of the day.

Dear God, Please hold our Evie this week close to you as she is still adjusting to this new setting. Please give her teachers guidance and a genuine love for Evie so that she will feel comforted and loved there. Please help Evie to eat her meals and take her naps there without fear. Help her to smile and laugh and have fun. I pray each day this week goes so quickly from the time I drop her off to the time I get to pick her up. So that way, she and I can spend the rest of the day with Daddy at home having fun! She is so precious to us, and as much as I worry about her and love her sooo much, God I know you love her EVEN MORE than we do!

A little bit of our Summer

Evie took on swim lessons at the wonderful University of North Florida.

She thinks she is so big, that she tries on Mama's flip flops.

She hits the weight room in her spare time when we are helping Daddy at

his baseball facility.

Of course she can't miss her Mama's favorite place the BEACH. Here she chases birds, gets REALLY dirty, and enjoys splashing in the ocean.

Sorry, I have lost the cord that connects my camera to the computer to upload pics.
But, wanted to update everyone on Evelyn Faith "Evie".
She took her first swim lessons at UNF in June.
She has been to the potty THREE times.
She weighed in at 18 months of a whopping 19 pounds, and is in the 10th percentile for height.
Evie LOVES outside, dogs, noodles, and Sesame Street.
I'll try to retrieve a cord soon enough to show pics of our summer together.
Oh, and we bought her a PINK glove. (look out USA softball team here comes your new shortstop)

Mother's Day 2009

Evelyn Faith sure made Mother's Day great. It started in the morning at the Jacksonville Zoo, then back home to work in the yard, then to church in the afternoon, finally to Mellow Mushroom for pizza, pizza! Evie is an amazing daughter and she and her Daddy sure gave me a beautiful card. I'll have to post it soon!

The pictures below show Evie at her first "Walk for ALS". Evie and T and I walked for "Coach Keith". Coach Keith is the 30 year old boys head football coach at T's school. He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease over a year ago. He is a figther and I was so proud that her first walk wasn't just for fun or for a trophy, but it was for a higher purpose, to show our love and prayers for Coach Keith and the other fighters with this awful disease.
Evie also had her first Easter egg coloring. There were tears in her eyes as she colored, not because she wasn't having fun but b/c Mama yelled at her for cracking the egg AND for putting the marker in her mouth. Poor baby!
Then Evie went on her first trip to the zoo. Her favorite was not the gorillas, lions, or monkeys.....but what else...THE BIRDS!!

Evie had a wonderful birthday. She began walking the weekend before her birthday. So at 1 year old she can walk, has two teeth, and can tear into a cupcake! She looked beautiful on her big day!

First candy cane,First time to Sea World, First time meeting Patrick and Lauren, and First time at a college FSU Bowl Game (ON THE FRONT ROW)....this little girl may not remember being in these awesome places, but Mama has pictures to prove it! :)

When Evie goes in the dining room, she sits near the tree and throws her head way up so she can see the top of the tree, IT IS HILARIOUS, b/c she almost falls backward trying to look up at the top of the tree. This BEAUTIFUL red ball was my first coaching ornament and yes it is now in the trash can thanks to EVIE banging it on the ground to result into PIECES! Merry Christmas all!

Evelyn Faith's Dedication

Evelyn Faith Freeman got dedicated at Celebration Church on Sunday, August 10, 2008. T put it the best by saying, "Well, looks like it is the perfect day to give her back to God." And to me that broke my heart, but at the same time I know that selfishly I want her to be mine, but ultimately she is God's and He just graciously is letting us borrow her and take care of her here on earth. The first picture is us praying for Evie and us communicating with God that we will do our best to raise her in church and for her hopefully to see Him in us and that we yearn for the day when she accepts Him as her Lord and Savior. The bottom left is Aunt Chelsea who was so kind to come on her lunch break to see her little niece. And bottom right is Evie and her Daddy. Looks like he is kissing and praying for his sweet baby girl! And of course our "little angel" is choming away at her fingers cuz she is SOO hungry!

We are so proud of Evelyn Faith Freeman. Go Evie! You are such a big girl, sitting up on your own. So far she's got minor damages from tipping over. hehe! She's tough! Evie gets her 6 month shots on Wednesday. Ouch! Other than that, she is enjoying watching Daddy coach while sitting in the shade!

Happy Anniversary Terrance!
T and I have been married for TWO years as of this afternoon. When people ask does it feel like 2 years? My answer would be ,"I don't know....sometimes yes..sometimes no.... but whatI do know is we have been blessed beyond measure these past two years." Marriage is the most wonderful present God could give two people. It takes time, energy, and talking to make it thru. But what a joy to see your best friend every single day. What an indescribable smile happens just when I hear my husband's name spoken. What an incredible journey full of memories from just these past two years. And OF COURSE what an absolute perfect gift from God for both of us to see each day a "little piece of each of us" which would be our beautiful daugther, "Evie". I'm so thankful to have a husband that loves me unconditionally and that loves our Father whole-heartedly. I love you, and my prayer is to have many more annivesaries with you!
